Site Conventions

This site has been designed to be navigated in the same way as any other website - and links are therefore indicated by blue text. If you click on these, you will be taken to other sections of the project.

There are a few other conventions you might want to be familiar with. On the right hand side of some pages, you will find a box entitled "See Also". This contains links to other relevant sections of the site - and the links are usually repeated in the main body of text so that you can see the context to which they link. Sometimes, there is also a box entitled "External Links" - this contains links which are relevant to the page, but which are on other peoples websites. Once again, these are usually repeated in the main body of the text.

You might sometimes see the following picture on the right hand side of the page:

This indicates a link to a more "accessible" version of the page, with some content ommited or rewritten to make it easier to understand. Alternatively, the following picture:

Indicates that you can click the link to switch from an "easy" page to the fuller version.

Most of the resources can be viewed as a normal webpage, however some pages require special software. These can be downloaded by clicking on the following pictures:
