Working with Words
Here we provide some starting points for qualitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis is about trying to make sense of the words that people use when you interview them or observe them. Each of these ideas can be used if you are working in a research partnership. Alternatively, you could try these activities on your own and then compare notes with your partners. Whichever way you work, you will have to think carefully about how to make it possible for everyone to have their say.
