Politics and Ethics of Partnership Research

The whole of this website, in a sense, is addressed to a fundamental question of ethics in research. This relates to who should do research and how. Of course, there are also elements of the partnership research process which raise more specific questions of ethics (e.g. issues of consent, the question of drawing up contracts between partners, and the identification of primary audiences to the research). These, and other, issues are discussed in the 'Key Issues' document. We also raise issues here about the anonymisation of research reports and provide a brief introduction to legislation and policy relevant to 'Partnership Research'
