What is Data Analysis
When you gather data for research, this is commonly known as ‘raw data’. This could be in the form of words, pictures or numbers. Here, you will find introductory guidance on how to begin analysing that raw data. How you do this will depend on lots of different things including the sort of data you have, the intended outcomes of the work and the timescale you are working to. Data analysis is basically about trying to make sense of your raw data so that other people can learn useful lessons from your research.
